As a novelty in the 6th edition, the International Market of Animation, Video Games and New Media 3D Wire comes into Gamification field. Gamification has been defined as the way of including elements from videogames into a world that has not generally been related to games, such as work world, marketing, education, sales, sports, etc.
Since 2011 we have lived this phenomenon’s -expected boom- in the shape of mobile apps, school activities, marketing, etc. That’s why this year, as part of the innovator nature of 3D Wire, we are experimenting with gamification in the event itself, being this a unique project in Spain developed along with GECON Fundation.
We are pioneers, because it is the first time gamification is used globally in an event for professionals of animation and videogames field.
3D Wire wants the experience of going to the event to turn into a very special and enjoyable adventure that involves all of us and lets the participants get to know each other, exchange and collaborate proactively in their ideas, knowledge and projects. So not only will gamification put new energy into the event, but it also will create new behaviors in order to enrich the experience for the participants and the event’s results.
To celebrate this first edition of gamified 3D Wire we will pay homage to Epic Role Playing Games theme that marked our childhood for many of us.
